The positions assumed during work or study, increasingly characterized by sitting in front of a computer, tend to put a strain on our back. The risk of crushing a vertebra, the risk of slips, the risk of simple soreness, fatigue … all this could be avoided by sitting properly and from time to time, postural exercises.
It is quite common exercises, those who are in the gym called “stabilization” and were developed in the eighties by Frenchman Philippe Souchard (lateral stretching of the neck, bending the legs lying on the floor, bending backwards from position with four legs and other easily available on the web). There have been a hundred volunteers to run about 50 years of age divided into two groups, of which only one subjected to real posture exercises. For both years had the same length and same frequency (twice a week for an hour, all within the space of 5 weeks of relaxation). At the end of treatment, assessment tests showed that subjects undergoing postural exercises had derived much benefit and loose back pain or at least had heard the muscles more toned and elastic.
