The “brain games“, the so-called intelligent games, really help to keep our brains fit, according to a study conducted by experts at the University of Michigan. The purpose of this study was to assess how mental exercise may increase daily intelligence and brain power.

Were involved 62 children, aged between 8 and 9 years. The first group of children were asked to use the “brain games” for 15 minutes a day five days a week for 1 month, while the children of the second group have exploited the same time to do exercises and expand their general knowledge vocabulary.

Abstract reasoning tests on which they were subjected children even after 3 months of experimentation, have shown that children who used video games that carry the “working memory” gave better results.
