Safety in beauty salons, now an extra guarantee. How many of us turn at least some time at a beauty salon for any treatment? But how many beauty salons are really reliable? The new ministerial decree comes just to protect this area of personal services to date a little overlooked by law.

From today updating the rules concerning the beauty centers, which dated back 21 years ago. But some aspects remain the dark, highlighted by his work as a beautician who does it well and in good standing around him and sees the constant and perpetual open new aesthetic nature and of questionable competence (not to mention how many revolutions lie prostitution): according to the legislation you can become a beautician with 3 years experience in a structure and a certain number of hours (not excessive) of vocational school. According to Angelica Pippo, President of Confestetica, “This means that during training the practitioner is experienced on the client’s skin, with all the risks this may entail. We are fighting to eliminate this possibility and to conduct a sort of license for operators who wish to use sophisticated equipment, such as lasers for hair removal”.

Antonio Di Pietro, founding president of the International Society of Dermatology plastic, regenerative and cancer, he added this: “Today, technology has also entered into beauty salons and to enable their safe use is critical that the operator is properly trained”.
