
Acne and obesity is the cross and the nightmare of all teenagers. An inflammation of the hair follicle leading infections and swelling (pimples), which if not treated properly, can leave visible traces on the skin even in adulthood.
The increased fat in the skin and the resulting oily skin inflammation and promote this scientific study, since 1959, have sought to link the appearance of acne and obesity to diet, specific nutritional problems (such as excessive consumption of milk). The last in order of time comes from Norway, where they were followed and analyzed 3.600 people (all aged between 13 and 19 years) and results showed that subjects with a tendency to gain weight, those who were already overweight at age pre-adolescence were more likely than those who developed acne and in its most severe form.
Be careful therefore to keep the measured power and not to exceed in tasty fatty foods. If in doubt ask your doctor but remember that the health of the skin also depends on your balance in eating.
